Monsters Needed

Blaaargh! *tries to fight off his muses* Great, now I have conflicting story series I wanna work on.
If you've read A Meeting of Bats, then you have already met one of the characters of the new series, Ravnos Noctre, the gunslinger.
His three companions are Mia Cho, the tanuki ninja; Dr. Charles Worth, the antlerless wendigo possessed reindeer; and Gweneth Pennington, the explosive loving dragoness that disguises herself as a lioness.
Boy, was that a mouthful.
Well, the series revolves around those four and pulls some of my chars who did not have a series into it, as cameos and giving them a world to live in, and the four take on numerous mythological beasts terrorizing the innocents.
So, I need some mythological monsters. I'll start listing the ones I've already got that are pretty good.
Plus..any ideas for a title?

Mythological monsters are a dime a dozen, luv. Those moldy oldies were creating them faster than you could count them up. The cockatrice, the basilisk (Not necessarily the same anymore), the Lamia (Lion and snake variants), the Sirens, the Harpies, the Gorgons, Sea serpets of various types (Leviathan, The Midgard Serpent), the Behemoth, the Ziz, the Roc (Not the same either), various east asian youkai (the many classes of Tengu, malevolent nogitsune, the many colorations of oni, spider demons), the Russian Rusalka. I could do this all day, mostly because I picked and chose what came to mind right away, and still left out all of Africa, Australia and the Americas. If you need ultimate evil, call me.

yes, I need ultimate evil. The reason I chose that type is partially because I find the mythology in the Hellboy comics so interesting, how he takes chars he created and mingles our mythology and has these characters deal with them, when these creatures are real and have just been more in hiding.

Well... It doesn't SOUND like you need ultimate evil. Ultimate evil is only good for (At low levels) as recuring villains and (At high levels) apocalyptic villains. I mean, The Fenris Wolf is ultimate evil, but there's only one of those, and it's rather anticlimactic to just beat it as a normal, mid-story villain. The more evil and powerful a villain, the further back in the arc the battle with it should go. What you want is "unremarkable evil" or just evil that is born of vices as opposed to pure malevolence.

Yeah but the ultimate evil sometimes make a cameo early on.
