What 2013 meant for me.

It's been a strange year. I can't believe it's been 6 months since my Dad passed away, it feels like a surreal dream where this will all be over soon and everything will go back to normal and he'll be with us again. It's a very weird feeling.
I have been getting back into art lately, I do intend for 2014 to continue with the project I have been working on with song titles being turned into characters. I remember asking some of you for suggestions and ideas and even though I haven't had much to show for it as of yet, I am working on it bit by bit.
Now as we move into 2014, I wish you all a New Year full of happiness.

I'll be looking forward to seeing those commissions. I remember mentioning a couple of songs off the beaten path and wonder if you had a chance to listen to either, or if you liked them if you had.

As for the songs, well I know Roxanne by the Police, it's good. I feel weird about it because it's my mothers middle name. What do you think? Should I get over it? It's just weird for me lol.
Baby bitch by ween, I hadn't heard it before so I gave it a listen and I read the lyrics. I'm kind of confused as to what kind of person she is? It seems like the fella hates her though, that's my interpretation. I mean, what is he saying here? On the one hand he says "Most beauty I've seen" on the other "Fuck you, you stinkin' ass ho" o.0
Roller derby queen has a good description of the female character, I imagine a tough blonde on wheels! So, that's a definite possibility.
