I should note that my now previous job was a temporary position. My former co-workers, and even myself, were pretty sure that I was going to be kept, considering the beyond sore condition my store was in (especially considering they had just fired someone in my department, and my department manager is on vacation... so they're three people down at the moment,) but I was told just this morning that I was going to be let go. Very unceremoniously, actually. Handed a check and a final paystub and told goodbye.

I probably should've been upset, maybe cried, but I couldn't bring myself to that. It was a very liberating feeling, and now I can dedicate a little time to my creations before I have to find another job.
