So, I just watched the latest episode of MLP:FiM, "Rarity takes Manehatten." It focused on my least favorite of the mane six, Rarity. For the first time, we actually see her embodying her element, generosity. Of course, the moment she is selfish, she falls into a spiral of depression and thinks she has lost her friends.

I've been thinking about this since Christmas, when my mom made a passing comment about me. My element is generosity... and I hate Rarity because she is me. My happiness has always come secondary to those around me. I give all I can to please people, to the point of draining my bank account and giving up things that make me happy. I think I do it because it is so hard for me to hold onto friends, and I just can't bare to be alone again.

I doubt I can do anything to change that about myself. Is generosity really a virtue? Am I doing something wrong? Maybe I'm corrupted generosity. Maybe I'm Red Eye. I realize that doesn't make sense unless people have read fallout equestria, but I honestly don't think anyone reads these journals anyway, so I guess it doesn't matter.
