Pain Update + Progress
Heya,
So very early yesterday morning I woke up in absolute agony, again. Went to the hospital (again). Turns out they now suspect that it's an inflamed gallbladder. Last week I had two of these attacks and went to the doctor and she sent a referral to get an ultrasound. So, when I get that done (heaven only knows when... damn you NZ public healthcare for being so slow), we will know for certain what's wrong with me and what to do form there.
In the meantime, the ED doctor gave me a script for sooooooooo much painkillers. Have any of you ever taken tramadol before?
Also, decided that I will keep open my freebies journal. I will be doing these as warm ups and practices, so there's no gaurentee when they will be done or what pose (if full body) they will be.
Interested? See this journal: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5382223/
Hope everyone's well.

I was prescribed tramadol drops (which aren't subsidised; I can't swallow tablets) for when I got a root fracture in a tooth, and it didn't really help at all (despite being one of the stronger painkillers). It might work on more general pain, as opposed to pain concentrated at a very specific location. It also tasted incredibly foul, and the taste lingered for hours even past strong mint toothpaste.

I'm just an odd duck when it comes to medication -- paracetamol also has no painkilling effect on me, though it does combine with ibuprofen somewhat effectively; apparently it's because they work on different levels. Tramadol is one of the stronger painkillers available, so it may very well have a suitable effect on you. Not everyone has the same responses to medication, after all. Here's hoping.
