It may be a losing battle, but I for one will not allow the rampant amount of careless buffoons to diminish my capacity for proper English usage. They can either deal with it, or can get out of my way.

Those who speak to me either handle themselves in a manner befitting of my presence, or they merely do not get the chance at all.

It is annoying when people type unintelligibly, however I'm not going to waste my time correcting them. If I were to do that, holy box of dicks bat man, half the day would be gone!

So do I, but I don't give a fuck if someone else linear communicative structures are infirm, doesn't change how mine are.

Just as  AncientE says: While Geby is hungarian, I come from a really distant world, neither of us uesd English, as our mother tongue. It is only fitting for us to try and be as accurate in grammar as possible. It's like going up to the leader of Elves and start speaking in their langugae like: "You is good king, where you cookies at?"

Using proper grammar in a foreign language is only another way to show some respect towards others.
If someone's too lazy to type properly, it's a'aight, idc actually, lol, rofl and stuff... But then I think one's brain automatically puts that person a tad lower on it's scales. xD

You know what really baffles me? Is that there are plenty of people on FA, that mother-tongue is not English, yet they still have better vernacular, communication, grammar and punctuation, than some of the people English speaking people on the internet.

Boy, you should see how Geby's hungarian friends talk like in their own language. Especially on FB. it's the appocalypse. xD I guess, while it should be as equally important to keep your own mother tongue nice and arranged, sometimes you don't bother, because they understand it anyway, and it's coo' anyway. While with the foreign languages, you spent a considerable amount of time of your life to properly learn how to use it, you might as well use it properly.. Just a thought. It's my opinion. :D

Also note that YOU, compared to most people I know, are VERY literate, and your knowladge of extreme and rarely used words are stunning. You have a really wide vocabulary, and maybe that is why you are finding the writing of others a bit uncomfortable.

Meh, I've never really cared. So long as they can spell and understand sentence structure I couldn't be bothered correcting them. Usually asking, "What?" fixes any issues anyway.

I have to agree with your post Micro. While I attempt to carry conversations with people who are literate and know how to handle themselves in a grammatically correct manner, I'm not going to outright devour them if they use a comma splice.

I associate being dehumanized (trampled) with sex and sex with love, and in order to stimulate arousal, to get into an imaginary scenario of you trampling me, I'd have to do something grammatically to you that you hate, so now I associate negative actions of your macro disapproval with the love of being trampled.
