What made you choose the species of your main fursona?
LONG: Back in 2004 I started a new high school in a new state. Everyone already had their cliques as high schools do, and no one was looking for or wanted and hyperactive, spazzy, Disney-singing 18 year old in their clique. Homework was a breeze, so I ended up on the computer for hours on end after school. I knew I was falling into a depression of sorts and if my Spazz didn't survive, neither would I. I figured, "I'm spending enough time on the internet, I should join some weird internet subculture!" "Well, CSI had those animal costume people. Grisom seemed to find them normal." "Okay, furries. I need an animal. A Dog! Hell, no, too obedient. A fox? No, foxes are pretty, sexy, and dainty. A wolf? It's like a fox, but bigger and clumsier and I can imagine accidentally breaking things as a wolf. More, rough around the edges; more dangerous. They are social and have tight knit groups. Yup, that works!" "Black wolves don't seem to be common, so I'll go with that." I swear to you, those were the exact thoughts. Purple was just a natural decision, I guess furries are supposed to have 1 unnatural color? ~shrugs Wings where because I needed an escape route and spent too much time listening to "Breakaway" by Kelly Clarkson.
TL;DR: Wolf-Not a dog and not a fox. Most "human" animal in my eyes, at the time.
Is your fursona just like you, or how you want to be?
She's me, just more... extreme I guess. She's a more preferred version of me. She's want I want to be.
Does your fursona have the same personality you have?
She's less afraid, More snap decisions, More sex. More heart. A LOT Less tied down.(Unless she wants to be ;) More kinky. More open.
Does your fursona have the same dislikes and likes as you do?
For the most part yeah.
Does your fursona look like you at all?
Not entirely. IRL, I want to lose about 40lbs to be back at "Dakota Size." Otherwise she's a winged wolf and I'm a human. o_O
Is your fursona the same gender as you, if not why?
Yup!
Do you have more then one main fursona?
No, I have other characters still in development for the most part. Dr Helix is the only other character with enough of a personality to play with.
Do you have a back story for your fursona, if so does it have anything to do with your own history?
I might have tried to write one, but the story is constantly evolving and changing as my life does.
Is your fursona mated, if so is it to your real life significant other?
Yes
If not are they looking for a mate, or are they a swinger so to speak?
Dakota is running around my brain loving and yiffing everyone, at the moment. That's who she is.
Is there something special about your fursona that you think sets them apart from others?
Sets her apart? Black winged wolves aren't as common as white or natural ones. Otherwise, I've toyed with the idea of making her prophetic. Oh, and she's an 18 time winner of the PENIS! game. xD
Do you have much art of your main fursona/s?
I might be a bit crazy about con badges. At the moment, I'm saving my pennies for more in depth artwork of her.
Would you ever consider parting with your main fursona, if so why?
She's a personality. She can take any form she wants, but I'm pretty solid on the black wolf part, MINE!
If you suit, do you have a suit of your main fursona?
Not yet. :)
Have you ever roleplayed with your main fursona, or do you prefer not to?
I did in the past. Most RP today would be with people I know IRL.
