What is your fursona's name?
Darkness Falls Light Rises Anew
What made you choose the species of your main fursona?
I joined the furry fandom from the therian community; my wolfiness carried over from that, really. Furries just seem to be more easy-going than the therian community.
Is your fursona just like you, or how you want to be?
It's a representation of me. Sometimes it's easier to explore ideas that I can't/would be afraid to explore in real life through playing around in art or RP or whatever, but he's not incredibly dissimilar from me.
Does your fursona have the same personality you have?
Yes. Perhaps very slightly more confident/brave.
Does your fursona have the same dislikes and likes as you do?
Yes, he does.
Does your fursona look like you at all?
The only major difference is that I wear glasses in real life; I struggle to draw them on furries, because, apart from pince-nez glasses, they look weird when I try to hook the arms over the ears.
Is your fursona the same gender as you, if not why?
Yes.
Do you have more then one main fursona?
I once tried experimenting with having a fursona that wasn't 'me', as it were, and it felt really weird. It was fun to play around with, but it didn't feel right, somehow, so I switched back. I have several other characters, including a couple of ideas for new costumes and fursuits and such, but none of them feel quite the same.
Do you have a back story for your fursona, if so does it have anything to do with your own history?
Not quite a back story, but I have a couple of made-up places where I like to imagine living.
Is your fursona mated, if so is it to your real life significant other?
Yes, as a representation of me, our relationship statuses are the same.
If not are they looking for a mate, or are they a swinger so to speak?
N/A
Is there something special about your fursona that you think sets them apart from others?
Not a great deal; the only thing that makes him not just a standard grey wolf character is that he has hair/headfur that vaguely mirrors my own. I'm digitigrade, if that counts.
Do you have much art of your main fursona/s?
Not a great amount; I have more in my Scraps folder than my main one. I tend to draw my characters more than myself, and I rarely commission people for art of something as trivial as myself.
Would you ever consider parting with your main fursona, if so why?
Not likely; 'he' is, as mentioned, a representation of me, so it's hard to imagine what would make me not-myself enough for that to happen.
If you suit, do you have a suit of your main fursona?
I do, although my 'suit doesn't have hair/headfur. My 'suit is another representation of me, seen through a different lens/medium/whatever.
Have you ever roleplayed with your main fursona, or do you prefer not to?
Yes, I RP occasionally. Again, I do more with my characters than with 'myself', but it does happen on occasion.
Do you consider your main fursona to be a part of you in any way?
Yes; as mentioned, 'he's' basically me, just a projection/representation/avatar of me so I can interact in fun furry worlds and have something to put on screen in the avatar field.
