Besu Buy had a used Asus 27" LED computer monitor for sale in 2k resolution that I got for a super good price.
I went looking for a new monitor because my LG one pooped out finally after like 5 or 6 years unfortunately. I honestly don't know how long most LCD's these days are supposed to last. I was planning on just getting another one a newer LED backlit one in 1920x1080 HD but I couldn't pass up on the 2k one. Plus my birthday is in 3 days and I had the money so yep.
4K is still way, way too expensive like 7-10 thousand dollar developers, professionals, and producers only expensive.
super high resolution HD porn *cough* I have a weakness for scalies but that's non related. Of course it has other uses. Dragonz and lizardz.

Oh and how it didn't weigh 20lbs and make everything look yellow..
1080p screens are pretty cheep nowadays plus a lot of them are LED backlit so I hear the color looks much better than the first and second gen LCD's.
So far I really like it. Newegg had it but it was $550 If I remember right. Out of my budget unfortunately so when I found out about the used one I freaked out.
Although I will say that it dose stress my graphics card a little bit more than the old one.
