hey i feel ya there. i often wonder if i should start commissions... but i too feel that i dont have the skill or audience for it. i mean, i got 5 bucks from a guy for a drawing once, but i dont think that would happen again anytime soon.

i for one like your work, and to be honest i would probly pay around 5 dollars for a piece from you. i hope you dont find that insulting or anything, im just putting my opinion there. and if i was happy with it, i would probably commish you again other times too.

unfortunately tho, for now i am without money.... i quit my job because im back in school, and so im looking for a part time job.... so im broke now ;P

but commissioning is always an interesting thing to think about. dont give up hope if you dont get a lot of feedback, ive asked my watchers on deviantart this same exact question in a journal, and i got literally no replies... i hope everything works well for you :)
