FBI Lockdown for suspected cyber crime message? Read this.

Things that for whatever reason, I feel need to be said in an addendum to my profile in a blog-type fashion.

If you're getting this weird message proclaiming that the FBI has "locked down your browser" because of suspected illegal pornography viewing/sharing, exposing sensitive state information, and pirating media, movies and music, keep in mind that it's a totally bogus claim. It's just a mal-ware virus manufactured by the Moneypak, Paysafe, and Ukash companies.

If your computer is locked, and you are seeing a “Your computer has been blocked” notification from a law enforcement agency (FBI, Australian Federal Police, Metropolitan Police, U.S. Department of Justice) asking you to pay a fine via GreenDot MoneyPak, Ukash or Paysafecard code, then your computer is infected with a piece of malware known as Trojan Reveton.
I suggest using their guide and resources to help remove the mal-ware.
