Someone is using my art..not sure what I should do

well it turns out a guy on F-list is using my art as his icon/ put my image in his files without getting my permission or citing me...not sure what I should do..
the picture in question was a taur piece of mine http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12183702/ but that still doent really matter. im just not sure im suppose to care that some person is using my art without my permission. or should I just leave it alone since its technically the internet... it should be free premotion.. but hes not citing me...uggg not sure what to do!
and hes even claiming to have purple eyes and being part cow.. im not part cow >///<
though I guess this does technically mean im a real artist since people actually want to steal my art..

Send a message to the admins https://www.f-list.net/contact/ or if you have an account kindly ask the person to remove them, if you have one and your verified as the owner of the character it might help

It's YOU, it's YOUR character, not theirs. If they're a straight-up fan, they can feel free to commission you for something similar who they can call their own. Otherwise, too bad for them! There are ~tons~ of free bases, headshots, and other resources online that anyone can make their own sona without taking someone else's.

It's absolutely right to do that; this jerk stole your art, and you need to send the message that it's wrong to do so.

Its fine, its your art and if you don't want it being used you can act on it and get it taken down

well I checked over their stuff.. and I would prefer my character not be associated with a several of those fetishes.. suck as cub.. so I asked them to remove it... though now im wondering how long I should wait before reporting them if they do nothing..
Just wait a few days to see if they respond and check every so often to see if their gone or if the player is on chat to see if their ignoring you. If after that time they haven't, report them

they removed it and im not sure what you mean by varifed..

If you really feel that strongly about them using your art without permission, go ahead and report them. Less you wish to just pm them, it wasn't theirs to begin with either way, they should have asked first imo.

well it more that they are using a picture of my sona to represent themselves... kinda feels weird..it would be nice if they cited me as the creator... but wouldnt that mean im giving people permission to use my art without my permission.. zaa >< i dont know what to think..

awww :< its never nice to steal art T_T they should have asked if your okay with it first, its your character, your creation,using it without your permission and portraying your character as someone they aren't is nothing short of a mental violation :< *hugs* I know its been 6 months , I just hope it has been resolved by now :<
