So yeah, I'm taking off, too. I'd go into the details BUT apparently even mentioning the details is grounds for a suspension/banning, so I won't. I'm sure you'll figure it out on your own soon enough. If you already know and are still sticking around, more power to you, and I mean that in earnest. I personally cannot, in good conscience, continue using or conducting business on a website that's run by remorseless egotists and people who'd rather kiss their ass instead of actually holding them accountable for their actions.
Anyway, this has actually been quite a long time coming for me; I'd been on the fence for a couple of months, but these recent happenings were enough to spur me into going through with it.
WHERE ARE YOU GOING???
Like a lot of people who are jumping ship, I have a Weasyl page. I spent much of last night and part of tonight migrating (most) of my artwork over to there. As of now, it's a bit of a sporadic kludge of commission art, since I didn't really upload them chronologically. But that's what gallery folders are for. After today, updates will hopefully become more linear.

WHAT IF I WANT TO COMMISSION YOU
Don't worry your soft little baby head; I plan on continuing conducting my commission business via email. I'm in the process of building a commission hub site on weebly, which will have pricing and contact information and examples. Once that's all put together, I'll post a link on various sites, including on here.
In the meantime, I'm keeping up my more recent commission work on atomicstoney until the commission hub site is done. IN ANY CASE, I haven't been open for new commissions in a couple of months anyway since my backlog is still like, 100 miles long. I'm concentrating on trying to get that knocked out, and I'm hoping everything will be cleared by the time FWA14 rolls around.
I'll still be checking back in every once in a while to favorite things or keep tabs on people who post more exclusively on FA than on other places, but beyond that, that's gonna be the extent of my activity here.
P sure this will be met with a lot of petty whining and vitriol (maybe not directly), to which I invite you to suck the noxious farts out of my ass and choke on them <3

Sorry, usually I wouldn't comment on random stuff on the net, but I just found the stuff that sparked all this. I can see *why* people are quite pissed off, frankly...

Don't like Weasyl, too crazy to figure out. Also getting tired of migrating from site to site over again. Not to mention having to cross post my work on EVERY site I have signed up for because people migrating elsewhere.

It's a shame that FA is the way it is and there isn't any competition when it comes to furry art sites. FA has an unfortunate monopoly in terms of users.
With that said, I hope it goes much better for you on Weasyl, DA, and everywhere else.
And yeah, it is unfortunate that the majority of activity is on FA rather than anywhere else, since it kind of forces people to stay just so they can continue to generate income for themselves. :( Over the past year, though, I haven't been getting as many commissions through FA as I've been through Tumblr so the decision for me to leave was a pretty easy one. The only thing that was really barring me from doing it was the fact that it takes FOREVER to delete everything hahaha
