I hated it too because they were always taking down pics of mine for stupid reasons not even found in the context of the work

Now that I think about it...I don't think I can recall ever reading something truly positive about the staff that wasn't written by someone who is on the staff.

announces site update with as lead designer. Zaush is very mistrusted by some due to very serious past accusations that, as far as I know, have never been disproven and drama begins because a lot of people don't want him in a position of power during the site development where he has access to people's information.

As always admins swoop in and make everything worse by censoring everyone spreading the word about Zaush.

Ah, all right. That's what I was able to gather, somewhat, after skimming through a few journals and forum threads. I still remember all that crap that happened with Zaush forever ago... Anyway, thanks for giving me the down low, though!

Back when that crap with Zaush happened I was still somewhat new to FA and the fandom and had never heard of it until now.

Honestly? This subject shouldn't really be brought up since it is their own life. While I do quite understand the predicament, but I am quite sure that other admins will keep quite a close eye regardless.

I do quite enjoy FA for what it brings. I just hate the fact people leave for dumb reasons. And from what I understand... People shouldn't really think so much about it, since it shouldn't be a life-changing thing. It just annoys me people leave considering it shouldn't affect others for whatever and whoever did what. (Yes, I heard the news. It is starting to irk me about these journals popping up. They all feel pretty much the same.)

My two cents is mainly this... I will just keep doing what I do best and talk to people and enjoy the art drawn by those I watch.

This. Though, I really won't comment/complain about either side of the situation. FA is still a community, whether or not it's a little divided. I don't see the consumer base moving until this site itself is deactivated.

Yeah. I shouldn't do that, though it is getting me a little annoyed about the subject. All I am saying is, if the community I enjoy is fine, then I wouldn't dream of leaving. I have learned to deal with many things that goes on, so I do not plan to leave FA anytime soon until FA decides to close their servers permanently.

Im not an apologizer or a defender or whatever for the situation, but in all honestly, how is one man with a deviant past and shitty personality going to inflict pain and damage to you and everyone else who's made that argument, with some addresses, birth days, and nick names. You give more personally identifiable information to people that you send paypal payments to. What does one person do with the 'personal info' of 30K+ furries from all over the world. Nothing, thats what. It's really useless information. Unless you live in the same county as him you really shouldn't be concerned at all, and even then, the incident was not a stranger maliciously targeted, it was arranged private gone wrong as far as any of us can know. If he's a good coder, let him code. I don't like him/dragoneer/any of the staff really/or even a lot of typical users here, but that's not why I'm around. I've never talked to them and should never need to to satisfy what furaffinity is for me, and that's a stable community where I can deal art. It's not the communities job to fuss over other people's personal lives and problems, honestly, no matter how immoral or disgusting they are. As it seems now, no one is actually in danger. Except those that maybe actually believe the site will ever get a real upgrade might get their hopes dashed.

Overall you are correct, I generally don't think we're in any danger.

However, the community has expressed this unhappiness in hiring him, and Dragoneer refuses to change a thing at all.
The people on the site really should have a say in who runs it, and the comment deleting is also very shady.

Agreed, Comment deleting and banning is definitely and absolutely not cool.
