Again with Zaush? It didn't click with me until the commenter below mentioned rape. Like I said to him, this old, OLD news. I can't believe people are bringing this up again. And who the hell cares?! If he wasn't a well known and popular artist, people on this site wouldn't give two shits. If he stuck his dick in an unwilling hole than that's for the police to care about.

Oh! The previous commenter mentioned Zaush but I didn't put it together until you mentioned rape. Jesus Christ, this is OLD news. I mean, way over a year old (maybe even two years at this point). A drama bomb went off when it was still fresh. Then another bomb, I think, after AC last year. And now it's back again? Hell, I'd leave the site just to avoid the morons resurrecting this drama zombie for a third time.

This often seems to be the case with the most dominant of the sites in a category. People just stay out of necessity because everyone's there.

Like Deviantart is even worse than FurAffinity, when you count art sites in general and not just furry art sites.
Of course, this is implying FA is actually bad, which TBH I don't really think it is.

I like Ink Bunny better than FA as far as websites go. It has a better submission system and a glorious filtering system. If it wasn't for the sheer amounts of Sonic, MLP, TMNT junk, I'd spend more time over there.

But I agree with that you say about becoming corrupt. The people running these sites aren't being paid. There are no shareholders, or government oversight. They do it on their own for an entire community. As such, they appoint whom they want to help run it. I'd do the same thing. I'd rather have a friend as my second in command than someone I don't know. Sadly, that usually leads to nepotism and corruption. It's human nature.

As I said on another journal, Weasyl could be the Stalin to FA's Czar Nicholas II.

The new sofurry is pretty good now that they've worked out the kinks. A pity the release was so botched no one has tried to go back.

Zaush allegedly coerced someone into having sex with him when she really didn't want to but she did anyway or thats what I've heard and people on this website don't want him having an administrative role with the website. It's like people who don't want to work on Woody Allen movies.

The ironic part is he just does coding on the site, he isn't actually an admin.
