dA's new rule makes me way too uneasy to even attempt going back there. It is a shame since it was a good place in the very start :(

Was it that copyright drama sort of thing that was going around?

Apparently they're stating users are given permission to allow stealing and tracing art. Admins will no longer step in to deal with it. Instead people are encouraged to note the thieves and let them work it out themselves.

Oh my good grief, as if we didn't have enough of that problem already! Hopefully they'll reexamine that issue, but I imagine the workload when it comes to complaints about it is skyhigh.

Knowing dA admins and their history with the site...it won't change. They probably got fed up with dealing with all the complaints and just did this instead. It is very sad... :/

But it explains why dA users fled to Weasyl same time FA users did. Apparently these two issues started up nearly the same exact time, I think?
