All im getting is that people are doing weasly accounts or whatever its called

I looked into it (since people were bizzarely not actually stating WHY they were leaving, just stating that they weren't going to comment on it). Apparently this new Project Phoenix has a new administrator or coder, who because of that Furryleaks stupidity a while back, the furry fandom believes he's a rapist IRL. A lot of people didn't take too kindly to that. However, when complaints started, apparently the admnistration (I don't know if it was the guy in question) started handing out bans without warning to anyone they saw complaining, which prompted this mass temper tantrum.

As for why everyone's going to Weasyly, apparently it's because that website looks nicer and has features that "everyone has been asking for for years on here but the admins kept ignoring" (read: a couple people asked for once but didn't get heard).

Gotta love dumb drama from the masses

At least it's educational. I didn't know much about Weasyl until this drama.
