I could help with that! I go to art school and take commissions at the same time, but I had to stop only because I got sick during the whole last semester.

I would suggest planning your time around the things you want to do the most/thing you need to do the most. Lets say you're like me and you like to wake up early and take late classes. That gives you the whole morning to do homework and commissions. Have homework for the class due that night? Do it first! Then, do any other important homework that may take more than one session, like a large drawing. Then do commissions! I would think that commissions would be easier (they are for me because people are paying me for the things I do best, not something that's like art homework).

I still have problems with procrastination, but a little motivation and google calender makes it much easier to handle!

Thanks for the advice! If I could shoot another question your way; how did you get started with doing commissions? I haven't had very much success myself but I'd really like to do some. My friends keep telling me that I should but it's hard to get the word out there to begin with.

Honestly I have the same problem still. I think you just need to rack up some good examples of every kind of work you can do: sketches, inking, coloring. For everything you can't do well, don't include it! It may be hard to run off of only three different kinds of commissions, but at least you wont be doing work you know you can't do well. Also, I mostly have my friends commissioning me at this point haha. I'm trying to spread further but it's not a huge success when I'm not as involved in online communities as I should be. Fandoms, reddit and tumblr communities, and even popular tame fetishes can help you get more viewers and customers! (though those aren't my cup of tea being an illustration major, I don't want a crutch like that. I know a lot of kids in my school who do use those styles and fandoms as a crutch and it impairs their work.)
