I literally asked the same thing! I woke up to like 25 journals saying "NOPE I'M DONE!" and I just sat there like..."WHAT DID THE THINGS?!"

The simpliest way I can put is thus:

Dragoneer has added Zaush/Adam Wan to the staff of FA, to work on 'Project Phoenix'. People are very upset about this, because since about 2012 (when the PM system on FA was hacked into), and it came out that Zaush has possibly forced himself unto others, in a sexual manner.

The admins/mods went to clearing out messages pointing this out in the Fender journal, resulting in some folks being banned, so now everyone is up in arms over it, both due to Zaush's past and his attitude towards it, and then the ban-hammer falling.

So basically, to trim it down further, someone people don't like is put into an assistant's position to help with a project, and everyone has shit their pants and run to Weasyl to use their bathroom (in a manner of speaking). Weasyl has locked the door to the bathroom(it's apparently down right now, possibly due to all the people screaming in fury as they pound their keyboards trying to join and "escape" FA), and now there's a long line of people with poop in their pants dancing around angrily cursing Dragoneer and Adam Wan as they wait their turn to "escape". Meanwhile, Dragoneer is trying to stop the explosion of poo shooting through the pipes by hanging a curtain and yelling loudly, "THERE'S NOTHING TO SEE HERE!!! ST-STOP LOOKING!! YOU GUYS ARE GONNA GET BANNED!!"

Does that more or less cover it?

See... this is kinda why I DON'T leave FA. Things like this just don't happen on other websites, so there's no entertainment.

I saw someone make a Tumblr post about it, and apparently people don't like one of the new admins because he has been accused of sexual crimes.

I really don't know the full story, what is true, what isn't true, but I know that's why people are upset.
