While you have every right to not go, the past isn't 'just the past'. We're talking about a person who could have the very real possibility of continuing this horrible behavior, and clearly the community wasn't okay with that.

On top of it, the way the staff was handling it only made it ten times worse, since it gave the impression of censoring anyone who was speaking out about it...and who knows? Maybe that IS true, but it's impossible to tell since all the comments on the Fender journal were being wiped out, and folks suspended/banned.

It created some panic in the community, which isn't healthy for FA.
