I don't understand why anyone is leaving.

FA is abandoned forever by everybody once or twice a year.

Well, you learn something new every day.

Some people live to have something to complain about, and feeling all self righteous. Its pretty sad to see how so many people with completely no critical sense jumps onto the rumor wagon. What business is it of yours? FA is a free service that have been a great asset for the furry community for many years.

Perhaps it will get more stable once the chaff leaves. But likely not for too long, unable to do without their animal porn, or missing all their watchers.

I'm the first to say that the over-reliance to one single website is a massive problem of the furry fandom, and i welcome any alternative to FA (though i'm guilty of not keeping my sofurry account updated enough: i'm a lazy boar).

The flavor-of-the-year dramas are just a little folklorist note of the furry fandom. There is only one reason FA could be abandoned en masse: banning porn.

E' che mi sembra più una scusa per fare del drama(al solito)che altro, visto che la motivazione si basa unicamente su rumor di qualcosa che avrebbe fatto(nella sua vita privata, tra l'altro)un tizio messo a lavorare sul progetto di rinnovazione del sito.

No one is gonna leave. After a week all the artists are gonna realize that their main business is on FA and that leaving is a stupid move. And then everyone else is gonna come back because FA has the most art and the biggest community.
Then there is the promise of the site actually getting reworked. And while I don't like Zaush he seems to be competent with webdesign.

To clarify me "not liking Zaush", I don't like a lot of people. It's nothing personal :P

I'm more concerned that internet mobbing will force governments to strictly policy the internet, and that's a concerning slippery slope.

It's so much drama that's so unnecessary. Allegations that are pretty much unfounded save for word of mouth that I've seen so far. Everyone's so quick to jump on the bandwagon, but I ask where are their sources?

Pretty sure at least some of the people leaving aren't coming back.

A small portion of artist do disappear between one of the yearly mass migrations and the next, that's unavoidable, the furry fandom DOES lose artists (albeit not as quickly as it gains them), and those are good occasions as any other. My watch list is full of old names who almost never post, they technically left FA too.
