I have seriously no idea though I'm thinking it is because of something stupid.

It's just stupid drama.

Here's the breakdown:

1.  fender posts news about FA getting a new UI soon, this causes many to rejoice (and some don't.).

2. The designer for the new UI was accused of rape allegations years back, and somebody brought it up in the comments. People rage, say awful stuff about the designer. FA bans the offenders.

3. People decide that they cannot stay on a site with someone who was accused with rape, combined with the FA admins actions causes people to leave.

So Frankie, don't worry about it. It's all just needless drama.

basically what happened was they hired on a coder for the new project who is an accused rapist. People don't want to be involved with the site if a sex offender is in control of intellectual goods of the site.
