Because y'all are fucking disgusting. Literally. You're scum, you make me sick.
At least, those of you who white knight for a FUCKING RAPIST and act like rape is no big deal.
In the past few days I have seen so many journals saying shit like "UR JUST CAUSING DRAMA" and "LOL RAPE IS NO BIG DEAL" and "LOL SHE WAS ASKING FOR IT"
It wasn't the main scandal that made this website so abhorrent to me. It was all of your awful thoughtless careless responses.
As someone who has been molested in the past, this is not a community I feel safe in any longer. You've all proven how disgusting and callous you really are.
I've met so many wonderful people on this website, hell, most of my teenage years were spent wasting time on here. I've been around since fucking 2008 and I've had so many reasons to be here. But those reasons aren't worth being around such a toxic and fucked up community any longer.
Those of you who are good people, who've stood by me and aren't sick assholes about the issue at hand, I'm sorry for ranting. You don't deserve it. But I've just had it up to here with this community, everyone keeps saying disgusting things and I no longer feel safe.
Migration to weasyl is almost complete, I've got a little bit left to do and then if I move, this account will be frozen as is with a notice of inactivity posted.
I'll say there's one day left to change my mind. By tomorrow I'll know and commit to a decision.

the other day I got in a feud with some guy going OH SHE IS JUST LYING ABOUT IT TO GET HIM IN TROUBLE, IT HAPPENS -ALL THE TIME-

I stick around on here for the community but sometimes the community but sometimes its hard to tell where their heart lies.
Honestly so many people don't even see that there's other reasons to leave this site besides that main point.
The amount of toxic people on this site is crazy.

Furaffinity is magical place where anything can happen.
All in all I loathe the fandom but a few make it worthwhile to stay for the time being.

DA has fallen too for me, except my friend bought me a premium for Christmas so now I'm kinda stuck...
Has Weasyl gotten any bigger? I know it's not FA big, but I joined on an old account when it first started up, and I was wondering the size of the community now? I've seen many people switch lately as well.
Also, really not trying to be an ass and kink-shame or anything like that, but there are filters on Weasyl right? I'm just not much of an NSFW fan at all and just wanted to be sure that there is an option to hid it if it's there? I honestly haven't visited in about a year or so, so IDK.
I've heard that the mods there are great though :3 SO hopefully it will be very fun for you!
I do have to say that I'm sad to see you go (If you decide to leave, that is),
as I'm not quite ready to quit the site myself (unless you can persuade me, honestly I really wouldn't mind you trying! ;p)
