short version
a new member of the admins of the site was announced and there was gossip and rumors he did something similar to rape. so it caused drama and people leaving.I dont think though so many would leave if the site was run better and had features other sites had.The only thing that keeps this site going in my opinion is inertia and lazyness.People are here because so many others are here.If theres every enough people leaving it could easily snowball quickly and this place would become a ghost town

Jimmy cracked some corn and to my knowledge that he didn't care.

Pointless and fruit cups are jumping the tard wagon over neers decision to hire and ALLEGED/ACCUSED rapist Zaush to work on the new FA UI. People then started to amass in streets wit pitchforks, torches and tubas and cried about an old problem that isn't necessarily there's to begin with.

Also boils down to poor administering as corruption runs rampant thought the FA offices. Some people got suspended for whatever. Then came back a while later.

Then exodus III happened.

Now weasyl is under ddos attack. And no doubt they'll be following the next trend train to coolsville station.

1: A popular artists whose name begins with 'Z' is made a coder for the recamp for this site.

2: This same afformentioned artist (Mr 'Z') was acused of rape during the Great FA Leak Scandal a few years back. (He also has various other accusations of 'improper conduct' towards the opposite sex).

3: This same artist is now going to be a coder for 'Project Phoenix': FA's umpteenth ground-up revamp project

4: Various people are not happy with this. Like people who have been raped and/or abused, know those that have been or just out of principle.

5: Various people coming out of the woodwork saying 'It dosn't concern me' 'Why didn't she go to the police' 'She did it to get attention' popped up.

6: Reason #5 fed into reason #4 in a postive feedback loop of accusation and disgust.

7: Said artist (yes, going back to Mr 'Z') was a coder in an umpteenth -1 ground-up revamp of FA from last year. The other coders involved claim that Mr 'Z' Don't know a lot about coding, lied about his coding credentials and was impossible to work with. This creates a shadow over Project Phoenix (see #3). (Like a phoenix it will probably bust into flame. But nothing pretty or good will emerge from the ashes.)

8: 'Neer says he forgot about this project (see #7). Admittedly there was an admission from this team they didn't/couldn't keep 'Neer informed on developments.

9: 'Neer admits a someone (begins with 'C') who... Who..?! Lets just say who loves his dogs a bit too much, has been an admin on FA Foruns for several years.

10: Comments and journals relating to the above (Specifically regarding Mr 'Z') have been deleted by admin and people have been suspended for a day (at least?????).

Yes. Though I realize that #1 and #3 refer to the same thing. So its really just nine points.

But to be fair I have much more sympathy with those leaving this time. There is a breach of trusts here on the part of the admin.
