Slowly leaving FA? + COMMISSIONS

After much consideration over the recent happenings on FurAffinity, I have decided a slow transition/possible leaving is probably for the best. This isn't going to happen immediately, as income is honestly my biggest necessary standing point, but I am going to be working on building liveable income off site. Once I can properly make that transition to survive without FA's business, I will be leaving.
That being said, as of henceforth, I will no longer be offering flat rate commissions through FA. From now on, I will only be offering various auctions for my art services.
If you would like to try and commission me in the future, you will have to do so through my openings on either Weasyl or devaintART. (I may be looking into other locations for business, too, including tumblr)
Any adoptables I post will be left-overs not sold elsewhere.
Please understand that this is a personal decision on my half. I do not feel comfortable here any more, and do not want to offer any more of my services than I feel necessary. Understand that I am in no way trying to pressure others to leave FA, as that is their own choice to make. But this is mine.
If you would like to discuss this issue with me, please contact me off site through either Weasyl, dA, or skype for those who have it.

I don't leave a site because of things that are in the past and I don't care about rumors :T
I didn't know about an incident that happened six years ago till now because I've only been here three and I feel completely disgusted. I won't be leaving though till I can get my weasyl going up.
It's not just about the rumours but how the staff handles this .
What sensitive information? Can you prove that they do this?
Just leave if you don't feel comfortable here... I would totally understand that! But all this drama about a freaking website? Why?
Are you saying Jotaku is making a fuss about leaving the FA site? Also I feel it's necessary to give and explanation on why you're leaving rather than just disappearing and leaving everyone else that watches you in the dark.
Some people fuss over stupid reasons. It seems you're including jo for "complaining" about leaving ,
For me, I have been watching them flounder for years, but MY specific final nail was watching how they handled this mess. Immediately suspending people who didn't even have previous infractions for so much as vaguely alluding to the issues? No matter how polite people were about it, they were being suspended and silenced. Then I read about Kittiara's issue where the staff literally stole from her and others. I could go on and on about the things that have been weighing on my mind, but I have reached a point where I don't feel I can ignore it all any longer in the hope it will get better. It won't. And now, there are alternatives.
Let people go where they will. You can't make them want to stay, and nobody's trying to make you leave. But please don't dumb the entirety of people's issues down to 'dumb drama rumours', okay? You don't have to agree with their views, but that's disrespectful, to many people for many reasons.
I am not saying that this whole thing isn't a complete and utter PR nightmare. But I also think that this is still just a website so many people here are totally blowing this out of proportion...
And no, there were definitely more options than 'suspend everyone who says things you don't like'.
I am in no way trying to cause drama or a riot or anything, and you misunderstand me by thinking I am overreacting.
Simply put, I don't agree with this site anymore. So, I am removing myself from it in a very mature manner.
This announcement is because I have a lot of people following me for commission work, and suddenly up and going without information would be very rude.
We speak up for things we don't like or don't agree with. And this is a good thing! It is good that people feel they can speak against something they don't like, and should always have this ability to do so.
This site has also made itself very important to a lot of people--both financially and sociably. Naturally things close to the heart cause more of a response.
The admins have proven time and again how incompetent they are and the fact that they are banning people left and right simply for voicing any opinions proves just how true these "rumors" can be.
As a matter of fact, maybe you should see the twitter conversations of the so-called "rumor" aggressor.
I think you'll find he is less than admirable.
Also if weasyl ever works for me I shall follow you on there too .

That said, completely respect and admire your decision. I'd love to move over to weasyl and SF if I could. I just don't get the notoriety there, unfortunately. I've tried several times, and it just hasn't worked for me. Best of luck!

But yeah, definitely understand. I'm rather uncomfortable with things here, and am disappointed in how many things have been handled. Not just these past situations, but in the history of FA with all the other problems between users and admins, and broken promises and general disregard and the lack of respect for the fan base that I feel there is from the administration. My best wishes are definitely with you! I'll keep an eye on what you're offering in other places too :D
