Well since FA is now comparable to the titanic, and the adminstration firmly believing 'this ship can't sink', I figure before all you guys jump ship and leave me playing a sad tune on the violin,
You can find me on sofurry, weasyl, and eventually tumblr. My weasyl is about halfway up to date, so it'll be a little bit before that catches up.
Not going to leave just yet, and I won't be deleting my gallery if I ever do. Just wanted to put this out there. I am switzerland in this matter, and although i do not like the staff's choice for their new member, or what he has done, I am not leaving just yet because I am hesitant to lose the average fanbase I have achieved thusfar. For the most part I am 90% business here, so until I feel I have regained a decent amount of followers who could support any future business I may have, I won't be fully moving.
If I open for a commission slot or two, I plan to set up a google docs sort of thing and to blindly pick commissions at random, so its not going to be first come first serve. Its either that or possibly an auction or two in the near future.

If you're dissatisfied with what's been happening here and are maintaining a presence there, that's the most important step. It looks like fully a third of the traffic here has already moved there, and more is going all the time. Quite soon it may be more sensible to be there primarily, instead of here.
I'm really glad you didn't double down on ignoring what happened and how the leadership has acted. Some of my favorite artists have, and that makes me sad because they usually end up saying some thing really mean and bad about victims in the process.
Honestly, it's quite sad that this whole thing happened. I liked FA, I thought the community was always quite alright, and I like the layout/design of the website itself (not fond of Weasyl's square only thumbnails). And aside from a few outliers, it wasn't too bad. It's only a matter of time like you said until the majority of the users have moved on. I think the only thing that could even remotely save this website is Zaush being fired, Dragoneer posting a heartfelt, honest public apology and severely overhauling how the site is managed by listening to the people that it has turned away. Even then I doubt it will recover from this.
Weasyl is far from perfect, but they also change things and update them, the team there actually does development. If you give them suggestions they may actually take the feedback and things get implemented and improved. Contrast that to how FA hasn't actually done any development worth noting for about seven years...
