Fur the More is a go. I look forward to having something break up the monotony that is the month of March. And in other news I'm rediscovering the joys of Mario Golf on the Wii's Virtual Console. I really liked the N64 version, never could really get into the Gamecube one.
And I've been considering getting a Vita, mainly since the HD remake of FF X/X-2 is intriguing me. Especially X-2. Cheesy fanservice aside I do love Final Fantasy games that have great job systems. That's why I love FF V and Tactics A2 so much. I also love Tactics A2 because of the Bangaa and the Seeq races. FF III had a job system but I played the DS demake, and it was a poor attempt at an update. Vancian spellcasting and JRPG random encounters are mechanics that should never, EVER, meet.
Speaking of Vancian spellcasting, I'm plotting a custom adventure for my Pathfinder group. For inspiration I'm drawing from FF XII, Skies of Arcadia, Baten Kaitos, and Bioshock: Infinite. Yes, I am in fact dreaming of the sky on this one. The current adventure we're playing through is one I'm enjoying, thanks to the minotaur magus character I'm playing. He's a bull whose details I need to flesh out more.
Well this journal really got away from me. Sort of a stream of consciousness thing going on here. I'd better stop before this train of thought jumps the track.

Not even kidding dude. We can talk later for real, but I was going to get my room sit-rep figured out this week. If you don't mind my presence, I'd be extremely happy to throw in for that. Plus a certain sketch I owe you in a certain sketchbook that is yours.

I wasn't kidding either. I never joke about lodging. Or lodges. Or cabins. Where was I again? oh right! I wouldn't mind your presence at all. I made reservations from Thursday through Sunday.

Love the Job system in Final Fantasy games you say? Then I suggest you get Bravely Default (3DS). The way it handles unlocking Jobs is... very fun (being as vague as possible to avoid spoiling).
Plus listen to the soundtrack. It is my favorite VGM of all time now. If you do, check out the concert Revo did. It is absolutely phenomenal

That thought crossed my mind but I aborted it once it reminded me way too much of FF XIII. And no one wants to play a tabletop where you walk down a hallway for 20 hours and the dice roll themselves.

honeslty, only played X ( never beat it. it was borrowed from a friend) and played and beat Tactics and Tactics advanced.
