bottom line an artist here has been hired to help revamp the site as a coder . People dont like the guy and feel rightly or wrongly hes some sort of rapist or sexual predator creeper and dont feel safe here.Others just hate the drama or like me are bothered by how it was all handled by the admins. (ie poorly as usual ) I would love this site not becoming the main furry site since others have better features (folders etc ) I`ll follow artists where they go and like matt burt/gunmouth said not be some jerk who belittles artists who decide they would rather go elsewhere.thats the main thing that bothers me is people shitting on those who chose to leave.Stay classy fur fans

Some bad shit went down. This one was a damn sight more substantial than any other "leaving forever", btw; thousands of people left this time, and plenty more are maintaining presences on multiple sites, waiting for the other shoe to drop.

As a supplement. there's also been a lot of stories coming out of the woodwork about him that are creepo as hell, like Gunmouth/Matt Burt's latest journal concluding with a story about him being creepy and predatory towards Gunmouth's ex-fiance.

Drama happened. In essence, the legal system was thrown out in favor of "The Gut." But remember, The Gut is never wrong. So people burned, hung or crushed were really witches, and all those folks sent to prison were Satanists. And there were Communists in Washington. The Gut said so.

Yep. Because Site crashes and server malfunctions was fine, People getting their cub art and copywritten characters removed was ok, People getting censored for no reason by unruly mods was just peachy.

But one of the possible mods might have some drama attached to him that might not even be true and will probably have no affect on anything having to do with the site at all? Thats just FAR BEYOND ANY LINE THAT COULD EVER BE DRAWN IN THE SAND EVER.

And that's what I love about the fandom.

Answer: Yes. It was called "Furry Drama", it was an ugly scene.

Just the usual rush to judgement, on third or fourth hand information, without bothering to actually check and see if any of it's actually true. I just love the "if it's on teh internets it must be true, mentality.
