The Truth Is... I'm Going to Be Selfish.

Here are some changes that I'm going to be making in no particular order, put into sections for easier ignorability. These have been weighing on my mind for a long time.
Liara the Boa:
- I don't care much for the character. Now everyone knows. I made her to be perfect but I don't like her nor the art of her nor roleplaying as her. I have kept her around and continued to get art of her because others like her, but no more. If you want to be in art of her then approach me for permission but I am not going to be purchasing new artwork of her.
- If someone is roleplaying Liara with you, it likely isn't me and they don't really have permission.
- I am NOT selling her but merely focusing on other characters.
Baera the Dragon:
- Will be turning slightly gooey.
- Will be more dominate to match my current personality.
- Would love to absorb and corrupt you.
Porn:
- There will likely be less smut in my gallery for a while. I see the 400+ pictures in my inbox everyday and just feel kinda burned out by it. I look at my gallery and it is full of porn, I will be focusing on art that could be hung on a wall and be easily explainable to a non-furry.
- I will still get adult artwork because I have promised pictures with others but see the end of me getting porn in sight. It is hard to consider yourself a christian when you pay people to draw porn for you.
- I will NOT be deleting artwork from my gallery unless there is drama tied to it, but those pictures are already gone.
I fully expect to lose watchers and friends over such things but I am tired of not doing what I want. I'm also tired of artists taking my money and not doing my artwork. As such:
Commission TOS:
- I have begun work on a terms of service bit that all artists will have to confirm that they have read and understand the first time I commission them. Artists have them and use them to their advantage so I plan on protecting myself in the same way.
This fandom has brought me some great friends but jesus some of the furs out there are fuckwads.

And that TOS is an intriguing idea.
Never again. Contracts are a two way street and it is my fucking money.
No freelance artist should be this arrogant and not finish their work.
However you can't judge all people by such experience.

I can understand and respect all that, though I'll still enjoy Liara anyway. ;)
Good for you on the terms of service, I wrote up something similar, though it was mainly to encourage better relations between artists and commissioners, though I doubt it'll convince anyone.
Far as the TOS thing, I think that while some artists may not appreciate it, it is completely called for, especially after having your money taken, and the rude responses when inquiring as to the refund. It's essentially theft, and I hope I don't experience that once I start commissioning more. All power to ya Mic.
