Photo upgrade stuff
Hey, photo peeps. Just some questions to throw out there for ya. I'm thinking that sometime this year I want to do some upgrading to my photography gear. At the moment I have a Nikon D50 with one lens, a 28-80mm /f3.5.
I'm ready to get some better glass, a few more lens options and a better camera in general. Where my issue comes in is I really really want to have a Sony body. Thinking an alpha series camera from them. Mid-range or so. If I go ahead and do that, I'll need to re-learn a camera and push back lenses for a while.
OR, I can upgrade to a newer Nikon and keep my current lens and then slowly amass new ones. I'm not sure what to do. Re-learn a new system (Sony) that I originally wanted to get, or stick with Nikon and get some new lenses first for the D50 before moving on up in body.
Any suggestions?

Try finding a used nikon 35mm 1.8 lense. They're absolutely amazing. Personally I love Sony products but for dslr's I tend to lean more towards Nikon. Sony lenses will cost you way more in the long run :\ In the end its all in the photographer, not the equipment.
