Gift art for doms, but showing them as bottoms?

Heya, my dear sexy top, dominant stud friends!
I am curious, imagine someone is liking your character very much and draws or commissions some gift art for you, but your usual dominant and/or toppish character is shown on the receiving end of a dick instead. Proper quality required.
Reason enough to not like it? Or are you happy about it anyway?
For me, if it is not too disrespectful against my characters, I can still enjoy the gift art and just state that it is not canon and/or quite special cases.

Not against it really. I'm naturally a switch, even though I tend to receive the top treatment

I think it depends. I would never picture someones character doing something like that without asking first, and I don't think it's wrong to be upset about someone portraying your character that way without asking. I mean, if someones going to draw your character having sex, they should check with you to make sure what they're having them do is ok with you.

My main character Raze is primarily a top, I would prefered to be asked to make him a bottom. But with that being said I would only not mind with a select few individuals. And it really depends on how he would be treated.
I think Raze would look hot getting sandwiched or spitroasted :D

Personally, I don't care if my guy is taking it in artwork. While it's not something I would really do all that often, art is art. I'd be flattered to be gifted any art, no matter what the content.
