you know it's sad when

This is one of the few wolves who will growl or hiss, depending on the person i am looking at.
A utility vehicle has to ask if they can park in your driveway for half an hour because traffic refuses to slow down to pass it even in bad conditions
and it's a 2 lane road so people whizzing by could end up smashing into oncoming traffic
earlier this year we already had a vehicle get stuck between 2 trees not that far down the road from us
and people wonder why there are so many accidents in Michigan
A.) Stupid drivers
B.) Slippery Roads
C.) More stupid drivers
D.) Even more stupid drivers
E.) White outs
F.) Wind
G.) Even more extremely stupid drivers

and people don't even bother to slow down when they pass it
not to mention we live 2 houses down from a flashing yellow light that gets decent traffic
but people never slow down for that either unless it's rush hour
and the road is twisty with a 55mph speed limit
they hear about it in drivers Ed but really don't retain the information
4-way stops are more hazardous than blinking lights
even if it was a 4 way people would end up sliding into the middle of the intersection when they tried to use their breaks
but blinking yellow lights seem to do little more than a 2 way stop
blinking reds on the other hand seem to go more along the lines of a 4 way stop except if your lane is already moving nobody wants to stop
it also doesn't help that the average speed on a good day is 5-10 mph over the speed limit
but yeah even if they did change it people would still treat it as if it were the same
I think they realized the reason for it was to ease congestion.
you're expected to go 5 over but most go 10 over
which there tend to be a lot of
but there are also the people who tend to tailgate even when you have had your turn signal on long enough for them to have given adequate room instead of them waiting till you hit your brakes and ending up having to cut between 2 vehicles in the other lane because they didn't want to slow down
I've seen someone almost ditch it ahead of me overdriving the road, and have also had to make a split second decision myself once. I was slowing and signalling to pull into a business across the road, when someone came around the curve ahead of me...and a semi was behind me at speed unable to stop...so I took the shoulder instead. I think both the semi driver and I about sh@t out our hearts.
And yeah. I know exactly how that is with people tailgating me. I hate it! I'm like 'seriously if you hit me your ass is toast!'.
