your welcome fff
Like at the beginning of Summer I got an email from one of my teachers that they would like to talk to me when I get back in the Fall. That ruined my entire summer. I couldn't relax. So I'm no use there. The only other time I have anxiety issues is in large groups (greater than 3 people). And for those I put in some Tchaikovsky and just tune it all out. But that's all external. I have no advise for internal anxiety.
My favorite activity when I just couldn't cope was to walk. Back in college my roommates would always watch porn, or get really rowdy at 2 in the morning. Drove me nuts. So I'd go on a walk at 2 in the morning, walked several miles before coming back. When I saw a fox or wolf in the distance I knew it was time to turn back and get some sleep. :P
That's a very long post to say I can't help. But I hope you all the best, and that it soon subsides. Best wishes.
And walks tend to be the most nice ways to blow off any steam so I'm glad you were able to do that ;o;
Thank you, i'm actually okay now ./u/.
i usually avoid contact with others but thats bc my anxiety is very social and contact can really mess w me
hope that helps somewhat =u=
I ended up watching a funny movie...it actually helped <3
The best thing that helps me is cooking something. Like i know there's a whole bad wrap that's like the whole 'nervous eating' or like, 'food therapy thing' but no like, cooking is SO DAMN hands on and it forces you to constantly think about what you're doing.
AND I DON'T MEAN MAKE A SANDWICH. I mean like bust out da pots and pans and a skillet ((hell throw a wok in there)) just use whatever you have in the house and get out something to cook. Like even if you want to make a sandwich like heat up the meat in the skillet with some butter or something but like your constantly flipping it and making sure it doesn't burn. Or even make like pasta or a grilled cheese or something! I ALWAYS do this when i'm anxious and it always helps me out because even talking about being anxious makes me anxious.
ANYWAYS, that always helps me and like, the gratification of making something delicious and then getting to eat it is really calming to me and sometimes I just look up easy recipes and stuff to do that will get my mind off things for a while.
Wehhhh I hope this helps. ;3;
This sounds so damn cool and helpful that I'm like...honestly considering doing this the next time I get one of those surprise anxiety attacks bfdhiobfdho like it makes so much ..SENSE. wow thank you dude ;/m/; this... WOW THANKYOU.
Anyways, I think it was fate. UwU. I will have to hit you up some time tomorrow with some fun recipies!
thank you cause this is nice v/u/v WOW IT'S GREAT YOU LOVE COOKING. maybe i can show the recipes to my bf cause he loves to cook v/u/v
STOP.
Think about it...
Realize there are bigger more important things.
Also, sometimes, one should not always blast the music.
Relax.
You'll be fine. XD
thankyou v//u//v I will be fine yes..
music sometimes doesn't help immediately because you're familiar with it. listening to unusual sounds will help more, like a genre you don't normally listen to or running someone's let's plays on you tube.
basically, you focus on your senses and observe your surroundings.
while you do that, you control your breathing, like inhale for 8 seconds and exhale for 10. this helps pull you out of the anxiety attack so you can deal with the upsetting stimulus with a clear mind.
and yeah that does sound right with the music. I like listening to ASMRs tho cause they're always different v//u//v Really scratchy different sounds and things like that are amazing, I swear wow ;/u/;
So thank you for this, it makes so much sense to put your focus on other things /cuddles you
