I really like to do collaborations with people, where two artists work on one drawing together. I'd really like to have consistent, long term collab partners that I can continually work with. I have high standards though, so I don't want to sign up with anyone without a trial run first. If you're interested in doing collaborations with me, with the possibility of taking commissions together regularly in the future, apply here!

Position desired: (Do you sketch, line, flat color, or shade? Include all that you'd be willing to do and if chosen, we can discuss how to split the work)
Examples: (Up to 3 examples of -each- position you'd like to fill. So, if you say you can sketch and flat color, include up to 3 links of sketch examples, and 3 links to things you've colored but NOT shaded/lighted. If you have a full resolution available, please let me see that so I can see the quality up close.)
Restrictions: (Subjects you don't like to draw, or refuse)

For lining, coloring or shading, you -must- be a digital artist. You must use a program that reads PSDs. You must be willing to accept critique and suggestions that will help us work better together, just as I will. For example, for complex pieces, I need named, organized layers. You -must- have a Paypal account and be 18+.

A small note: Don't show me your cleanest sketches. I'd like to be able to -understand- your sketch, but I'm more interested in the quality of your anatomy and posing. There's no need to waste time on sketches if you're only making it pretty, when it's going to be inked anyway. So, show me your anatomical and posing skills, not cleanliness.

Hm. I'd like to try then! I think your flats will probably be okay. We shall see. :)

For this one, my preference would be to line and shade, so you'd sketch and flat color. If you accept, I prefer working from a brand new sketch, not something you've already drawn (though this is not 100% required, just preferred). It can be your character, mine, a two character drawing of both of our characters (my usual for collabs), or just a random character.

Once the sketch is complete, please email it to SRStudiosArt[at]gmail.com with your FA name included. If it's a specific character, please include a reference! I'll ink it and send it back for you to color. You then send it back and I shade and finish it up. You can attach it directly, or we can set up a shared Dropbox folder.

If I'm inking your sketches, I need to know whether or not you will allow adjustments to your lines, or if I should ink it exactly how it is.
I also need to know if you'd like to have last say before the image is finalized. When I'm not the one shading, I tend to like to do some contrast and color adjustments before the image is posted, so I extend that same offer to you, or you can trust me with the finalization.

in the last 3 i 'blended' the lines on the inside, like this; http://puu.sh/6HHIm.jpg . so i'll mess up your lines haha.
in the first one i painted over it, but i can also just work underneath/inside the lines.
though i think blending the lines on the inside works the best for us!

Position desired: Ink, flats, I can't really draw but I love to ink sketches and do flats, my shading isn't all that wonderful but I will add an example of that as well anyways ^_^

I might be late, but I would totally love to work on a collab (or collabs) with you, Ajna! You've seen some of what I can do, and I'd like the role of "sketcher," if you did want to work on something. As you know, I'm pretty busy with school, but sketches don't take me all that long to do, unless it's a really crazy pose; even then, I could probably figure it out eventually - and of course, I'm open to critiques, too.

Honestly, I think our styles would look pretty cool together =p.
