Yeesh, pretty much most of my avatars are from the art I get from artists like you. Why wold someone be so effing stupid to steal art from its creator? (NVM, I forgot that art theives have shit-for-brains and have no concept of honor, decency, courtesy, etc)

Did they at the very least actually comply? Ive had something similar happen to me where this person was using my photographs to pretend they were me and when I confronted them saying the person in the pic wasnt them they got really offensive at me saying "How would i know that it wasnt them" I replied saying "because its me" and they quickly changed their tune but I was just shocked at the vile things they said.]Ive had people steal my art or colour over the top of it and pass it off as their own. the internet is full of people like this sadly

Yup they did, actual note "I've already changed. Goodbye, selfish." The really sad part is that it kind of looks like they know how to draw, too, based on their gallery. Although I guess it's kind of hard to tell if it was actually done by him/her.

That comment was sorta for other people who commented on this journal. I just didn't feel like saying the same thing on every comment that called it theft

It seems there are some people on this planet that believe everything and everyone exists for the sole reason to please them... I wish I had a death ray for every one of them. I wouldn't call it my own If I did copy others art. People should give credit where credit is due.

Newbies to the fandom don't seem to realize that the characters in furry art are rarely generic balls of fluff without names or stories. I guess some people just don't get it *shrugs*

I agree with this. fursonas are like an identity. People should treat it like one.

I've had people insult me before because I chose to remove a selection of my pictures from a gallery for personal reasons. I know how frustrating it is. I'll stand up for your right to say what is and is not okay for something you created in any circumstances, and what happened to you is already a lot more invasive than what happened to me!

Removing stuff from your gallery is a dumb way to convince people not to copy your work. If they did copy it they'd still be able to view it.
