Well, I made it through the week of FA deprivation.......barely. Had a very interesting time, and got lots of pictures. But I came down with some dread disease on the last day there. Like the touristas or something. Anyway, very nasty. And of course had to fly back the next morning no matter what. Cancun to Mexico City and then Mexico City to PV. It took 12 hours and was the worst torture!!!! I'll load some pictures later when I'm feeling better.

Oh...and don't bother staying in Cancun unless you like Miami. It's not Mexico. It's a giant modern, expensive tourist trap, and the tours to archaeological sites are really rushed. You're lucky if you see half of the place. If you want to see the Mayan pyramids and ruins fly to Cancun but stay in one of the little towns miles away from the city and take a taxi to the ruins. You'll spend less, see a lot more of authentic area culture, and get a much better look at the sites.
