Mutual understanding and communication (and obviously acceptance of each other's habits and faults). Also...having the same long-term goal for settling down is helpful.

At this point, I think I want to give relationships a break until I know I want to settle down. But I would still feel very close and connected with those I were with.

11: When you are dating someone do you believe in going on "breaks"?
The only time I think a 'break' is acceptable is when you need to cool off before mutually coming to the conclusion that you two aren't working out. You should try to not end your relationship while angry or over-emotional.

12: What's one thing you regret saying/doing in a previous relationship?
Rushing into my first one.

13: What age do you think is appropriate for kids to start having sex?
Legal age. That's it....people need to make their own mistakes, but as long as they are legally able to, then it's on them.

Oh you bet! I've seen some very lively and older people and some very ancient boring young people.

If a crush counts, then yes....but for the most part, not really.

Yes I very much do. I wouldn't recommend it until you actually meet though.

Wow, okay where to start. Long-distance, specific kinks, different goals on where to settle, relationship standards, work ethic, responsibility, emotional stability... There are more I'm sure but this was just off the top of my head. Yeah....I'm being quite the picky aroo.

18: How do you know it's time to end a relationship?
When we begin to drift apart. We discuss why we are drifting apart and if it can be fixed (realistically) and if not, we should start discussing the possibility of separating. It sucks, but we'd both be happier in the long run.

Nope, currently a single pup (by choice)

20: Do you think people who have dated can stay friends?
Definitely can. Depends on how they separated and were towards each other during those times.

Why not? If you are both understanding of the possible outcomes there's no reason you shouldn't. A. You end up together and live happy forever. B. You find out you are better friends than a couple. C. You get together break up....hopefully peacefully so you can remain friends or else you now have someone you don't want to be around. Is it worth losing a friend? Make your decision carefully.

2 relationships. First was 2 years, second was 5 years.

Yes

No....sometimes it's the cause of things.

There's no need to rush into anything...just enjoy being happy on your own until you are ready. How do you know when you're ready? Try to be self-sufficient first.

Yes, they can work. I don't wish to be in one though. If I'm in a relationship, I want to spend time WITH my partner at home.

Their reactions to how I act, their personality, their comfort level in any given situation.

I am gay....it's just easier to say.

Only if they let it rule their life and/or affect the way they lived. Nobody should use it as an excuse.

Emotionally abusive, yes.

I don't really believe in marriage as something a couple in love should do. I am perfectly happy being with my partner without any ceremony. However, for the benefit of taxes, insurance, hospital visits and other benefits that come with being married, that's the only reason I see to be married. I do not need a piece of paper to validate my love. Admittedly a (very) tiny part of me thinks it's romantic.

Nope nope...again if I'm going to mark my body, it's for me.

Personally....no. I am big enough to admit that for me it is a big part of a relationship for me. Certainly not the most important part, but as a puppy, I find it a HUGE way for us to share a bonding emotional and physical link. Sex is majority mental for me anyway.

Personality for sure.

I prefer romantic comedies, but overall, sure I can enjoy them.

Actually, no I haven't.

I don't actually date...but if I did...nah, you guys have to figure it out. I'm not gonna make it easy for you. (Disclaimer - I don't really believe in dating because I don't want to go on an 'outing' with someone who isn't being themselves. People go on dates to impress the people they are with. With me, be yourself, how you would be at home on a normal day. That's the best way to see how we click on a normal basis.)

Yes I have....I sort of had to.

Neither are more important than the other. I would love my partner and I love my friends. If my partner wanted me to become a hermit and devote every moment of my day to them, we wouldn't work. I need to interact with friends as well.

I think deep down I am...I honestly just try not to show it. I don't wanna lead people on.

Again....this depends on their work ethic. A rich guy can lose his money in an instant. The poor guy might be a hard worker and overall be safer to be around. Douchebag or not....I am confident enough to take them down a notch if I need to.

"Am I good at it?" That's not for me to decide... Some friends seem to think I give them decent advice mainly because I do NOT tell them what to do, I just point them in a direction.

How important? Nah...not extremely, but I would still do it.

According to one person who no longer wishes to be friends, yes I have. I was a victim of circumstance to be honest.

No, I think it's STUPID. My opinion on suicide is unpopular. I will not give people the sympathy they seek. I may seem heartless and all, but aroo...they need to learn to get over it.

Admittedly yes....but I always made it up to em. Pup shows his love throughout the whole year so missing a day isn't the end of the world.

I'm all for it. I don't find it as an excuse to go hook up with anyone you want, but to share yerself and partner with people you consider very good friends.

My mom is more important to me than everyone...when she is gone, my world will be destroyed for a good while. However apart from her, I tend to hold everyone else equal.

Any sexual act without permission from your partner. If you have an open-ended relationship, it's good to know if that person you plan to be with is on your list of "people it's okay to be naughty with without asking".
