I uploaded and commented with my link at the same time once it hit 100,000 if the host thinks that's unfair she's welcome to dismiss it. My net is just a wee bit slow so it was still loading it when I commented.

puush doesn't let you modify images and it saves timestamps. it's pretty much the gold standard for kiribans.

Downloaded the program and tried it out. Kinda nifty I admit. But surprising that the standard for kiribans is a program that Screenshots, Uploads, and Auto Generates a URL into your clipboard all in one keystroke so you don't have to do any work but F5/PuushButton/Paste and submit. No wonder you assume I had to have cheated with posting before 100,000 by psychically predicting when their pageviews would go up.

Again as I said before, I saw the kiriban hit 100k, screenshotted, saved, posted my link while dropbox was updating. I did not post it magically beforehand knowing when it would tick over. You didn't see the screenshot immediately because It was still updating since we posted at the SAME TIME

actually FA doesn't permit people to post Screenshots for Kiribans.

He had that in his Dropbox, pasted the link in the text box here, hit "submit" the moment he saw 100k views, and then took a screenshot of it and changed the Dropbox file.

Not sure why it matters to you - even if he's disqualified you don't take the place, as your image doesn't show the kiriban at all.

Actually I didn't do anything until i saw the page had switched to 100k views. At that point I quickly Screenshotted, ctrl-saved into paint. and then posted my comment while file was still loading. So I did wait until I saw the kiriban hit until I did anything.

There's no evidence that you didn't post the link at 99999 pageviews and then edit the file while everyone was shitting themselves trying to capture #100000 and link it.

Dropbox is a cheater's tool in a kiriban because of its ability to allow free modification of files without anyone being able to track it.

Honestly I've never heard anyone complain about Dropbox before, neither from the hosts or the other kiribanners. You're the first I've heard pose any issue with it.

Actually there is. I would have had to been PSYCHIC to have posted at 999,999 views and know that seconds later some random was going to come along and tick the counter.

It could of taken minutes for someone to have come along and ticked it to 100,000, but we both posted our file within the same minute/seconds of each other.

also not to mention both our time stamps here on FA showed we posted at the same time. If I had posted my link before She actually hit the kiriban number. Then it could of sat at 99999 for god knows how long.

preparation is how people win these things basically. Alot of people tend to use auto-upload Link generators where they hit a button and it uploads to their own personal thing and gives them a link automatically so they don't have to go with any of the middle bullshit.

For the record, I did hit my screencap hotkey, but puush lagged and didn't take the picture until after I switched tabs.

I gave it my best effort, had the first legitimate non-cheat entry (timestamps will confirm, what with how close it is to my post time), and completely failed because of a fucking software glitch.

I'm just going to go cry now, because that's pretty much the universe taking a colossal shit on me.

I have upload like 250 images over the last month, I know how to submit like crazy.

I'm quite sure that you won this cause the time stamp on the bottom right got 1 min less than others included the person before you ( but It would assume that we own the same system clock)

Fucking FA, always fucking up kiribans. Shouldn't there really be only one person that can see the number, and everyone else would just fail?

the way that pageviews work is it ticks the counter once per day per IP. So you could have 30 people hitting refresh and the counter won't move until a new person that day comes along and visits the page, which allows multiple people to see the same pageview.

This is why I'm not a fan of kiribans in general. It seems a ridiculous premise.

Oh well, not the first time it's happened, won't be the last either, I'm sure. I'm just hoping to get faster each time. Congrats to the winner!

Hehe, I remember I wanted to do something like this for my 50,000th view, but believe it or not, one day when I came back from work and got onto FA, I realized I'd just become my own 50,000th view. xD

Also, seriously guys, clean up your fucking messages. We don't need another FA downtime.
