Depends on what you're going for. If he's supposed to be a baby, then totally shaved would be better, as well as more humiliating for the lil' guy. As for the trimmed mane, I don't really see the appeal in that. Perhapse if you could explain what you have in mind more thoroughly I could give a better opinion =3

I don't have anything specific in mind, just curious. A trimmed down mane really makes a lion look more youthful, especially if he's naked and has a less than average penis. :P Usual embarrassment stuff.

well, this seems contrary to popular opinion, but I'd say the partially trimmed just starting puberty look. Going along with the (I presume) diapers, et al. It's more embarrassing (and I like embarrassing) to be force to see all the different points you've lost and for others to see it - so you've got an alpha lion who looks in the mirror and has to confront that he isn't an alpha, looks like a kid, and has to wear a babies clothes.

Shave it off entirely, then you start doing the passing of as a lioness thing, and that is fun in a sneaky / sublimated identity kind of way, but not as much as the other scenario, to me.

I also like the idea of him looking in the mirror and seeing his mane, but being reminded that it's not the mane of an alpha male. Then, when he whines about his pitiful mane, his caretaker points out that everyone will be preoccupied with his puffy diaper bottom.

I like either look, the lioness look is fun and can be rather humiliating or even styling the mane into braids would be another. Diapers of course are needed for any sissy lil kitten but they have to be thick, perhaps stuffed with soakers for that added cute waddle. Of course punishments like forced crawling or tea parties/ stuffed animal parades are cute too.
