And you thought the "Morning report" was bad in English...

你好。
Maybe you didn't know, but I am learning to speak 普通话 (Mandarin)
I am getting pretty good at it. Well, compared to what?
Okay.. so really it would be about the same as being able to order "Aqua" at a Mexican restaurant, but at least I can do that!
Anyway, while trying to hone my listening skills I wanted to watch something familiar in 普通话, and I found THE LION KING.

I know enough to tell you that it is not a direct translation.
Except Timon dose call Simba 孩子 (Hái zi), or "High Za".. that means "child" or "kid".. so.. they have that.
Seriously though, from 10:05 to 11:45 is to be avoided at all costs.
再見
PS,
If you did accidentally watch the scene i specifically warned you not to watch, you can wash it out with the Cantonese version of "Can you feel the love tonight" ..
For the record, I don't know a word of Cantonese. It's pretty though.

Forgive me, I can't tell you.
If not: don't X3
This has been the first time I've ever seen that scene in the movie! I didn't even know there was an extended version XD
