My life experiences as compared to one cartoon character

Well as the guys that know me well, im not the kind of dude who uses journals or internet in general to express himself, i just dont, so this is kinda new to me, dont bash me too hard XD it was a realization i had recently...
And well it has something to do with all this furry thing more or less.

Leatherhead from the 2003 tmnt series.
welp, it was my first tmnt series i ever saw, i know. im kinda young on that aspect xD
Well, I have come to the conclusion that he is the main reason i use to draw so many heavy reptile dudes.
You will see, when i was a kid, i was bullied a lot on school, i hate that word but whatever it happened, it was a pretty heavy stuff back then, by the time i also used to watch that tmnt show, i loved it, and you can guess who my fav character was, and it was due to me feeling actually... related to leatherhead, yeah, weird stuff, i dont know why he just ended up being the most relatable character for me at the time, and well... the selfish little me saw what it wanted to see, leather head in the show is sort of troubled because he belives he is some sort of monster right, well when i was a kid id like to have been like him, so people would leave me alone, so id have the strength to fight for myself and protect others, in some way i wanted to be strong as him, because he not only was hella strong, he was also hella smarth, and i was always mocked up for being a little smarther than my schoolpartners. So it was like something id look up to... to be like him, For me he was amazing.
Time passed and i had forgotten about that show, i got one of the worst memories around, i was also grown up already, and i learned to stand up for myself, some assholes where trying to use me as their personal amusing toy and i standed my ground, i wasnt botherded by anyone after that in highschool. I also had a little group of friends you know, so i wasnt that alone on the place, i kinda like to think now that, i sort of followed the things leatherhead did, but i just realized it now, that he was some sort of role model i had grown up with, uh .
It just feels weird to realize that i had related way more to a fictional humanistic crocodile than i ever did with anyone else or such, it .. its also stupid xD and i just dont get why it happened like that, im not a crocodile giant thing im a human dude, it makes no sense...
So yeah. just wanted to share that one with you guys. sorry for the long text, its just.. some sort of way my origin and how i also got into all these furry things.

splinter is a pretty cool rat :> im afraid i dont know much about tmnt besides this 2003 series, but he really was cool there xD, leather head impressed me because of how although he was smart, he had to overcome several physical dificulties and over the time he realized he could,
Still it feels weird to me to feel related to that guy more than to Human characters
but that didnt happen to me in other shows

Often non human characters are not under these labels or stereotypes. And people that hate labels or not fall in one of these at all get more appeal to these characters.
pero si puedo ver porque le fue mal. Mal plan desde el principio. talvez pensaron que era buena idea en el momento, pft.
Yo siempre tengo un poco de problema a la hora de etiquetarme en algo, porque como muchos tengo algo de ahi y alla, pero asi la mejor etiqueta que me quedaria seria la de que no tiene etiqueta xD
recientemente estos personajes -no humanos- ya estan callendo mas en estereotipos, una de las cosas que no me gustaron de la nueva serie de las tortugas ninja, los estereotipos son faciles de identificar y dar risa para los niños supongo...
Pues. no se, yo me senti mas identificado con leather head que con las demas caricaturas o compañeros de clase y asi : /
En mi caso como ya soy anciano, me toco ver un hombre-lobo mascota de una cerveza conocida como Coors Silver Bullet en 1987. A diferencia de todos los licantropos de las peliculas y la serie de television "The werewolf", que son bestias demoniacas que se comen a todos. Este lobito llamado Beerwolf solo le interesa el ejercicio, los deportes, la cerveza y las chavas. No se esconde de las personas y si lo miran feo ni le importa. En ese tiempo los furries solo existian en las mainframes de las universidades gringas o en clubs de animacion, por lo que era lo unico que habia a mi alcance. Asi que ese lobo fue mi inspiracion, un lobo que no tiene verguenza de lo que es pero que no hace nada malo tampoco.
Pues los tiempos cambian, y las estategias de venta tambien, puede que los niños de ahora se identifiquen con estos estereotipos, pero la magia de los personajes animales es que no hay necesidad de categorizar gente por cualquier cosa y deberia funcionar.. bueno eso talvez se pierda por un rato ahora, porque si tenemos a una tortuga con bandana naranja obvio quiere decir que es un ginger y debe tener pecas (ENSERIO WTF) :l
La animación tiene sus buenos y sus malos ratos, asi como por un tiempo tuvimos a series como young justice con trama interesante, personajes no planos, acción, seriedad, y asi, los productores deciden que quieren algo estupido y gracioso porque es lo que vende y zaz. afios young justice. hola loqueseaquesiguaesaslineas
