It's kinda the same as a plushy relationship, just the feeling of it, or since inflatables tend to be a lot bigger people prefer them for cuddling and riding, and yes some do like the fetish side *cough cough*

Think of it this way; the same way other people don't understand the appeal of furry, you (and I) don't understand the appeal of inflatables. And you don't have to. They have their individual reasons, I'm sure, but even their best explanation can't make us understand their interest, just their personal reasons.

Yeah, this and vore and the collosally fat furs, I mean so many rolls its a cartoony humor show. Something that would not be utterly pleasing in real life and would be rendering someone immobile in there house. Like the 700 pound man or woman type stuff. Nobody thinks that's sexy or attractive and we're not talking about insulting fat people, that's not a "Fat" person, that's very unhealthy. You're so overwieght you can't move and you're alwyas in the hospital? Sorry, you need to change that immediately. There's no excuse for that, especially if its because you keep eating or something along those lines. I do know people have eating disorders, but someone should stay on top of that and control it for them ,if they can't.

Anyway, vore just...something eating something else? I eat fish, I eat deer meat, lions kill and eat zebras. There's nothing sexually stimulating or appealing about blood covered face mess and guts hanging out. All though, usually vore is one predator swallowing another creature hole and being constricted by stomach muscles, which I don't see how that's attractive either. Things eat other things, yes. That's...been going on for ions, how is that stimulating in anyway?


There's also a thing about chaining characters up and torturing them by tickling their body with feathers and licking or something like that., which, it seems pretty innocent, to be honest, but the fact that its a fetish, is very bothersome. There's something there i don't get. I think someone told me that if you get someone to laugh enough or hard enough they will orgasm?! Not sure if that's true for all people, but that might be what the tickle torture is about, which is just bothersome ,because the concept seems so pointless. Chain someone up and tickle them? That seems pretty innocent. Like a watered down kids torture concept comuppance for a bad guy in a cute kids tv show. he's being punished by being tickled to death, all though, now that I know the fetish behind it, if its true, I won't be able to not think of that if I see that in a kids show, which means I've been corrupted XD Not that I wanted to be, but it just bothers me so dang much :/

The furry fandom has some weird stuff in it I don't get, and don't get me started on the porn. I think its wrong, and I have no respect for people that draw it. It shows me what's going on in their head and that they're perverts and all sorts of other things. What an artist draws tells you A LOT about them and their thoughts, heart and feelings. I've had people tell me there is GOOD porn. LIKE WHAT? I DON'T EVEN! There is no such thing. Sorry, but I'm a conservative and I do believe that there are things wrong with some things. Thinkin everything is healthy or is okay, is not a good idea or thing to live by. It gets people killed and people have died because people are too open minded and its just a foolish thing to have.


But anyways, now I'm ranting. But yeah, I don't get A LOT of things besides why I like fursuiting and anthro art in general.

I gotcha. YA, there is A LOT of weird shit in this fandom but I feel like it isn't fair to call it weird until I fully understand the reasoning behind it. For example, not that I am into vore or anything, but I sort of understand peoples' reasoning behind it. A lot of people say that swallowing someone whole (so basically not even harming them) is just another, more intimate way to get close to someone. It kinda makes sense? In a way? I just like to understand before I judge is all :3

I'm a bit more black and white on my justifications. Its not the people I"m judging, its what they're doing or drawing, but if a person approves of something that's not acceptable, I just avoid that person because they are participating in it willingly and I refuse to have anything to do with it and them because they are liking it or doing it or whatever, lol.

But eating someone is a strange concept to get close to them. I don't really understand how that's "Love." but once again, my thinking is very black and white. I have aspergers, so I analyze everything pretty strictly. If it doesn't make sense, it doesn't make sense, lol. I see where you're coming from though. I'm just aware there are some pretty screwed up things here, which kinda almost kept me from joining the fandom because that's all I ever saw of the furry community, which was pornography.

The community needs to do a better job of presenting itself to the public. It could be SOOO much better and well hidden, these sub cultures of the fandom.

I know! I educated my case worker about furries, Monday and when I meet her again, I plan to show her con videos of the cons. She loved my fursuits. Everyone that handles my cases(Mental health and depression and that kind of thing) They are just blown away by the fact I have made my own fursuits. Plus, I get a lot of compliments about how easy I am to work with XDD

Anyway, off topic, there, but I did not mention sex or anything. I said, "Furries are people that like cartoon or anthro animals like bugs bunny, donald duck, yogi bear, beast from beautfy and the beast, those types of characters and such." So, once I get my tablet loaded up and all with videos, while we wait in the doctors office next monday, I'm going to convert her! MUAHAHAH-Ahem, okay not really, but I have convinced every person, so far to want a fursuit AT LEAST because of showing them videos of the fandom XD Its not a bad thing when sex isn't brought into the mix, LOL.

Pretty much just what  mothtolightcreations has said. I just like the texture and smoothness of the material and the tactile sensation you get from sitting/laying on them. That's pretty much it for me why I like them. I hope that doesn't sound too weird or makes you think I'm strange.
