Regarding your commission purchases, it sounds like you are a bit of a furry shopaholic. You probably have some ideas for commissions that you want, but there is no rush. The artists you want to commission are not going anywhere. You may enjoy the commission more if you have saved for it.

You can try giving yourself an allowance. You can only spend $X on art for the month. If the purchase will go over that amount, it will have to wait.

Yeah I go swimming a lot, but I tend to just sit on FA when I'm in class and bored (because what else would I do? ) I also am tempted to start taking writing commissions, because I love writing a lot, and I think I'm pretty good at it. Though I'm going to start setting an allowance for myself.

Unless your class is Basket Weaving 101, I would hope that you aren't so bored with class that you feel you're not learning. Are you bored in some classes or all of them?
It's interesting to hear about you having a laptop in class. It is a different time from when I was in high school (and that was only eight years ago!)

Taking writing commissions would be fine, that would be something else you could spend your time doing.
