So I had to do research on the coca-cola ad for the 2014 Superbowl - picked this ad because I really thought that this was pretty well done - and when I did I just couldn't believe that there was so much hate about this ad, I mean seriously! The national anthem wasn't written by an american, it was written by John Stafford Smith, a British composer, and we find that perfectly ok. Then, Just so you know the poem, America the beautiful was written by a lesbian, Katharine Lee Bates, so why can't this song be sang in different languages by the people who live in America ?
