A bit of a rant, and stuff.

BALLIN' KITTEN PARTY So's I have $11 in my bank account. I am awesome.
also, another person at my job just STOPPED SHOWING UP! so being the company trash can, I'm here filling in as always.
Basically, where I work I do about 5 different things; one of those is helping cashier the vehicle service department. Technically there should be 3 fulltime cashiers employed, plus me, who works up there from 4-6:30.
Well, we already had lost a girl about a MONTH AGO. We were/are on a hiring freeze, so she wasn't replaced. This put us in a position to where if any of the cashiers needed a day off, the other fulltimer would have to work a 12 hr shift, while I had to relieve them for lunch, screwing up my time schedule, as I'm supposed to be working wholesales that time.
Anyways... the girl who does receptionist took the week off so I have to get here at 7AM to open up shop and unlock things, etc. (I relieve the regular phone girl on her lunch and breaks).
Well, guess what!? The other fulltimer girl is the person I was talking about not showing up at all. Therefore, I'm stuck working until 6:30 instead of leaving at 4 (which I should have been able to do, as I'm technically working the phone girl's shift, and not mine, which is 9-6:30) and the other fulltimer cashier, who has to work up there alone until I get there at 4, which is actually a 2-3 person job.
Oh, not to mention I'm getting paid barely over minimum wage.
I know, most people are just going to say "well why don't you just quit?"
I dont want to be like everyone else. I am however going to ask for a raise as I found out the other cashier fulltimer was making 50c more than me, and I've been here since march and do 3x the work she did.
I'm just a -bit- irritated, is all.
In good news: ummm.. umm...
idk, I haven't eaten a good meal since Monday, and that's only cause
srake took pity on me and bought me food since I can't afford it -and- gas/necessities for my vehicle.
Kinda sucks.
Oh, and I gotta buy a $100 part for my car, not to prevent the impending explosion; but to delay it from happening for a few years anyways. (recently found out that my entire undercarriage and parts of the frame are SUPER RUSTED! and if I get a leak in the gas line and it hits the muffler, Jinxie becomes a flamebroiled kitty!)

*hugs* I can't do much to help you out, but it's awfully badass that you are trying to stick it out
I really think after the new year rolls around and sales pick up we can have the CORRECT NUMBER OF WORKERS lol
but at this point its sort of illegal to have both of us working 12 hr days and the other fulltimer not getting to take lunches. D: so I think they should be hiring someone within this/next week. God I hope so anyway. D:

When I worked at the local arcade I would sometimes be working 8+ hours before I got my lunchbreak :|
