Well training's over, and I'm gainfully employed, so will be commissioning things on a more frequent basis! Anyone that knows of any artists that combine quality with affordability, feel free to give em a mention here! I'll be sure to check em out!

Yup, the plight of the new guy on the job. you get last. choice when it comes to getting your preference on vacation days and shift hours. Hang in there, after a while a new batch of new guys come along and you start getting better choices. I don't know if I can get to FAU, depends on what happens with the replacement for furfright and this new Boston furcon I am hearing about. But if I go, I hope to see you at the big gulp party. We always welcome the squirrels there. *grins*

Well no, its not that. As a trainee, I have whats called "Conditional Employment" Basically I'm not fully protected under the union yet, and am considered on probationary employment till the one year mark. AFter that I'll have a couple of weeks of vacation to use and can put in requests for the dates I choose. Unless its at a rather incredible holiday, I should have no troubles getting off those days. I'm planning to aim for AC '15

Yah I bet that they get a fair number of folks who end up not really right for the job. Especially in a high security facility. So they can let folks go who are not working out without having to wait for some bad incident. Hope it goes well for you. Stay on the right side of the walls.

Well sometimes the flow of people makes it necessary to be on the left side of the walls! :p

I am, but I prefer trades. But my previous prices were all under ten bucks. I need to rethink, since I'm mostly traditional again. XD

Good to know :) One of my artist friends recently had to raise prices slightly, but I figure if the product matches the price, GO FOR IT! Will keep you in mind ^.^
