Y U hate yarn?

it isn't that I hate Yarn it's that it looks like to me that they didn't want to make new graphics and just rehashed them from Kerby epic Yarn. Looking at the game yeah I'd say thats what happen.

Have you even made a game? Let me tell you it sages a flat of time and money to use the same engine.

why not? well when they first made Yoshi he wasn't yarn. Mario isn't yarn. Thats like taking Duke Nukem and making him an anime sure both can be gory but Duke isn't anime. So what not yarn? Cause Yoshi isn't yarn. Yoshi is flash blood scales bones and cuteness

still your avoiding the question. Why yarn? Hell I think that clay would be better then yarn. at lest that looks solid. and a Dunk Nukem anime sounds good in theory but I am sure that it wouldn't be what you are hopping it to be. most likely be butchered by whoever gets there hands on it

What's so bad about yarn? And you'd be shocked be what happens anime. IE: Microsoft can do it really good.

whats wrong with yarn? let's see. What if we had the choice to change a game to what we wanted. So your saying yarn is okay. let's test that shall we. let's say that we are making a new Assassin's Creed And I say "hey you know what this game needs? every body to be yarn". Or let's say rayman yeah make him yarn to. oh let's not stop there the next street fight every body yarn now what a grated move why stop there. Call of Duty let's make it were the guns shoot buttons and everyone bleeds red strings yeah that sound good right. The point is there's no need to make Yoshi a ball of Yarn. this isn't game related but what if I just started to draw My Yoshi Dave as yarn. I might as well seeing thats the new thing to do. yeah just a big ol pile of yarn and say "Theres Dave sorry if Y'all was looking for a giant fat Yoshi he is now Yarn. or hell why don't all the Yoshis here at Fa just draw yarn.

Some of those may be fun, (As flash games on NewGounds.) and Yoshy and Kerby actually pull the yarn bit off nicely. My advice, get some Swing music, and some PC visualization software, and have fun with some old OSs, Yoshy will back back to normal soon.

okay I seem to not get threw to you. let's try something else. Next Mario Game let's make it where uses guns and wheres a leather jacket and make him look more like a real being. let's make Sonic have robotic legs so we can say yeah thats why he can run so fast. and let's make Fox Mccloud a human. Make Samus a dude and just call him Sam. and make Link have a lightsaber and make it a fps. oh and capt. falcon run instead of drive. Make pokemon gory to. As you can see these are all bad bad ideas and I feel like this is the wrong way that they should be doing this.

Yarn is a different medium. I for one like the different concept. I gives a bit of a different texture and feels for the games when compared to standard 3D models. It's makes it look more comforting and flexible.

you bring up good points. but it still stands Yoshi isn't yarn. Now if he was yarn from the get go then I wouldn't have any beef with this. but the fact remains Yoshi isn't Yarn and the whole Yarn thing that nintendo is doing rubs me the wrong way.

I can understand that as well, I completely get where you are coming from. Changing character integrity can be a stickling point for anybody. Very well, we've had our own opinions and shared them, and I think we've some to a good agreement about the advantages and disadvantages of this yarn issue.
