FurSquared Convention
Dear Princess Celestia
Anypony going to the FurSquared Con in Wisconsin in a couple weeks? I haven't been hearing too much chatter about it and those friends I did ask, said no. I'm going and hosting three different panels there, but wondering just who I know will also be there.

Will be looking forward to seeing you again =3
Since we are on the subject of conventions, Liedt, do you know whether or not you are going to be going to any MLP:FiM conventions this year? I know that Midwestria and yourself had your differences, but my friend
So now I am left with two other relatively local area pony conventions: Trotcon, and Ponyville Cider Con. I know someone on staff at Trotcon, and it has existed for more than a single year, which are both good signs. However, on the down side its posted special guest list is disappointing for the second year in a row too-- so far the most notable official MLP:FiM-related person that they have is Heather Breckel, who is a colorist from the IDW My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic comic book series. Wow. I don't mean to demean Ms. Breckel, as I do find the comic series to be well done, but if that's a convention's headlining guest that is horribly underwhelming. Trotcon thus far has no one from the actual television show-- no voice actors, no writers, no animators, nothing. All of their other special guests are podcasters from the brony fandom, and I am sorry, but if someone is from the fandom at best they should be considered nothing more than a panelist-- not a headlining special guest. That is a really low bar Trotcon is setting. Despite that, Trotcon is still on my list of possible conventions due to the fact that it is relatively close, but it is definitely not a sure thing with me. I have to wait and see if they bulk up their special guests and programming a bit before I make a decision whether or not I want to try to get accepted into their artist alley and go.
As for Ponyville Cider Con, that is a new pony con taking place in November in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. While they have posted no guests yet and are a great unknown, they are still my greatest hope for my pony con for this year due to how close Milwaukee is. I can't ignore the convenience of a con that is so close. Hopefully it won't implode between now and when it takes place in November, as it would be nice to go to at least some kind of dedicated pony con again. Despite Midwestria's own problems, it still gave me and paw093 a lot of fond memories, so we'd like to recapture some of that fun and good times once again. What are your thoughts and plans for MLP:FiM conventions this year, Liedt?
It does not look like I'll be attending any MLP cons this year. Time is just not my friend, I have too many Military obligations that are coming up every decent weekend when I could get on the road for a con. This one, may be my only con at all, for the year. I'm going to miss MFF too, first time in 8 years, as I'll be in the desert in CA for some warfighter training.
Because awesomeness of my caliber cannot be contained in 140 characters or less!

I am very sorry to learn that you won't be able to attend any other conventions this year, and I wish you all the best with your military training and duties. Hopefully next year you will be allowed a little bit more free time so that you can enjoy yourself at more cons.
