heh, we don't plan to spend the whole time in disney world, we only got a 7 day pass, the rest of the time we're doing other stuff. :) Wish it wasn't so bloody cold here though >.>

lol bloody cold? hey, it's almost 70 degres here in the day! and it doesn't even get below 40 at night! You know, as a northerner, you should consider this toasty warm =P

heh, it's not the temp so much as the humitity here that makes it cold. Back home-up there in the frigid north-it is colder tempeture wise, but it feels about the same because the humitity isn't as high there. We came down hoping for summer weather, so we didn't bring the touques and parkas :P

i wonder is there a Furry day at disneyland? i mean they have Gay day, and a bunch of other 'day'(s).

Thanksgiving is Disney's busiest day of the year! I should know, because I went there on Thanksgiving day years ago.

If you want to see everything, be first in line when the part opens and go from ride to ride in a counter-clockwise fashion. If you can get to that first ride before the line builds up, you'll travel ahead of the "people wave" until about noon. If you really want to speed things up, skip the first ride and start with the next.

What ever you do, DO NOT go from ride to ride in a star pattern. If you are orderly, you'll have plenty of time at the end of the day to visit the shops and go back to any rides or exhibits you particularly liked.

heh, thanks for the advice, can't see it helping much though. I couldn't drag my family outta bed before 10 even if I wanted too, and it's far easier to let them organize where they wanna go, I just follow along. :)

Letting the "grownups" pick and choose what to do was the bane of my every visit. It was such a more complete and rewarding experience when I was older and able to do things my way.

Doesn't matter much though, I like to be in control...sometimes, the rest of the time I'm happy to just follow along like the pack mule I am, easier that way :P

What made things so maddening for me was realizing that we were spending most of our time walking rather than experiencing. Those parks are really big, so when we'd travel from ride to ride in these random star patterns, all our time got eaten up. Before we knew it, it would get dark and there would be that one ride I really wanted to see, but we wouldn't have time for. I got so angry over that.
