As far as I've seen in all my time here, there has always been an average of 11k people online unless it's convention time or the site being ddos'd

I think im talking about 2 or 3 years back to have that #. I may be thinking that im my head but I feel there was much more then it is now.

Weasyl is not really that active in a sense of actual activity either. People upload but I hardly see commenting or anything anymore.

I do like the set up and look, but I think to see your FAVs help peps find new peps. and I don't see much peps fav much up there only see like 20 favs in ones page. but that what I think.

It's cuz' I started using the site. Everything I become involved with dies. :c

For the 2 years I've been on here I haven't seen the number of users dramatically change in anyway. Usually around 9k, 10-11k at peak hours, and maybe close to 5k at odd hours.

Has that really been true? When has that been?
I know that i've looked in past at the numbers too years ago and on the highest load it never exceeded 11-12 000
And even after all the drama it's still aproximately the same numbers.

Honestly, pretty new to this place.. I always knew about it before but since I'm not an artist I didn't really think I had much to do here XD. I didn't even know there were other furry sharing sites.... It would get pretty tedious trying to mange them all.

This site has been my home for the past 7 years because it suits what I draw. The only way I'm leaving is the site crashes for good or I retire from the fandom

I only know like 15 people, so that's fine by me.

People come, people see, people stay and then people leave.

The site has shrunk a lot. They deny seeing any fall in traffic, but a LOT of people did go to Weasyl after their latest debacle. Weasyl consistently has 2-3k users online, and you can be pretty confident that a lot of those people are still showing up on FA's list by checking it periodically even if they're mainly active there...

FA seems like its one big knock away from really collapsing as the heart of the furry community, and judging by history, that big knock won't be long in coming...

weasyl has a bad browsing system compared to FA and so does inkbunny and DA they are just greedy limiting you to 24 unless you pay for full membership to get everything including more than 24 search results per page

so that's why i'm sticking around :3 i know your DA is Phation

Still though, reading through the comments, happy to see that people notice that the numbers havent really changed after recent drama. It made me sad that the community was getting divided, especially when I was just settling in here and liking it.

I think it will rise more when more of the heat dies down. between the like near 2 week outage/on and off disaster and that other thing afterwards...and it hasn't been long enough for those who "jumped ship" to decide they made a mistake and return yet...

Also as dumb as it is some people just wanna move on to the next "fad" and thus are going on Weasyl just for that reason or Sofurry...

So yes, it is sad, but also very stupid...

I would assume it has peaks and offpeaks like other sites. Weasyl, Sofurry and Inkbunny feel like wastelands to me. Atleast there is a healthy flow of discussion here.

I can probably remember a time when there were less total 'members' of the whole 'fandom'. X3
